CVE-2025-24026Network attack vector

Authenticated server hang via undisclosed regular expression

Published May 14, 2025 · Updated May 14, 2025

Regular expression denial of service in Combodo iTop before 3.2.1 allows remote authenticated users to hang the server. Combodo states that an unspecified configuration-derived variable enters the affected regular expression but has not published the request path, pattern, or triggering input. Exploitation requires a low-privileged account and a configuration without a hard-coded app_root_url; the bounded impact is service interruption.
