Missing authorization in the iTop portal allows remote authenticated users to alter restricted object fields in affected releases before 3.2.1. The portal profile form submitted edits through a generic object endpoint that accepted request-supplied fields absent from the rendered form without field-level authorization. An account with portal access is required; exploitation changes object data outside the fields exposed to that account, with no reported confidentiality or availability impact.
