CVE-2025-2402Network attack vector

Data access and service interruption via static password

Published Mar 31, 2025 · Updated Mar 31, 2025

Affected KNIME Business Hub releases use hard-coded credentials that allow remote attackers to access the MinIO object store. A non-random password embedded in the Kubernetes secret configuration grants MinIO access to anyone who possesses that credential. No Hub account is required; possession of the password permits reading or changing active-job inputs, outputs, or swapped jobs, while direct bulk writes can interrupt most Hub functionality.
