CVE-2025-2399Network attack vector

Emergency shutdown via malformed TCP packets

Published Mar 10, 2026 · Updated Mar 10, 2026

Improper offset validation in Mitsubishi Electric CNC products allows remote attackers to force an emergency shutdown via TCP port 683. A specially crafted packet supplies an invalid index, position, or offset that the TCP service uses for an out-of-bounds memory read. Unauthenticated network access to port 683 is required; successful exploitation affects availability only and leaves the device shut down until a system reset.
