CVE-2025-23978Network attack vector

Stored XSS via cross-site request forgery

Published Jan 31, 2025 · Updated May 11, 2026

CSRF in Ninos Ego FlashCounter 1.1.8 and earlier allows remote attackers to store scripts through an administrator's browser. Patchstack has not published the affected request handler or parameter, or how input is persisted and later rendered without safe output encoding. Exploitation requires a logged-in privileged user to visit a crafted page or submit a forged request; the stored script then runs in later visitors' browser contexts.
