Stored XSS via forged privileged-user request
Published Jan 16, 2025 · Updated May 11, 2026
Stored XSS in Strx Magic Floating Sidebar Maker 1.4.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject script via a forged request. Patchstack identifies a CSRF path that causes a privileged user's authenticated browser to save attacker-controlled script, but it does not disclose the affected handler, parameter, or output context. A privileged user must visit or submit attacker-controlled content, after which the stored script executes for later visitors in the site's origin.
