Published Jan 16, 2025 · Updated May 11, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in alicornea Category Custom Fields 1.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to store script code via a crafted request. Public CNA and Patchstack records do not identify the request handler, affected field, or missing request-validation operation that accepts the forged input. Exploitation requires a privileged user with an active WordPress session to interact with attacker-controlled content, after which the stored script executes in a browser context.
