CVE-2025-23760Network attack vector

Stored XSS via cross-site request forgery

Published Jan 16, 2025 · Updated Apr 28, 2026

Stored cross-site scripting in Alex Volkov Chatter 1.0.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject script via forged requests. The public advisory names cross-site request forgery as the delivery path but discloses no affected endpoint, parameter, storage operation, or rendering locus. Successful exploitation requires a privileged user to act on an attacker-controlled request, after which stored script executes in a visitor's browser with access to the data and actions available to that session.
