Unauthenticated database manipulation via username SQL injection
Published Mar 17, 2025 · Updated Mar 17, 2025
SQL injection in Human Metapneumovirus Testing Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to manipulate database data. The password-recovery.php handler fails to neutralize the untrusted username parameter before using it in an SQL operation. No authentication or user interaction is required; successful requests can read or alter data and interrupt database-backed functions.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
