Unauthenticated SQL injection via unvalidated GET parameters
Published Mar 16, 2025 · Updated Mar 17, 2025
SQL injection in VAM Virtual Airlines Manager 2.6.0 through 2.6.2 allows remote attackers to read or modify database data. The /vam/index.php HTTP GET handler insufficiently validates the ID, registry_id, and plane_icao parameters before using them in database queries, allowing injected SQL to alter query semantics. No authentication or user interaction is required; exposed installations permit database enumeration and disclosure, with modification or deletion bounded by database permissions.
