CVE-2025-2344Network attack vector

Video disclosure via unauthenticated recording and RTSP endpoints

Published Mar 16, 2025 · Updated Mar 17, 2025

Missing authentication in the API endpoints of IROAD X5 and X6 version 20250308 allows remote attackers to read recorded and live video. Ports 9091 and 9092 expose stored recordings and a live RTSP stream without enforcing authentication, allowing JDR footage to be retrieved and converted to MP4. Access requires a connection to the dash camera's Wi-Fi network; the demonstrated consequence is video and embedded location-data disclosure.
