Code execution via WRL out-of-bounds read
Published Mar 11, 2025 · Updated Mar 11, 2025
Out-of-bounds read in Siemens Teamcenter Visualization and Tecnomatix Plant Simulation allows local attackers to execute code via WRL files. The WRL parser reads past the end of an allocated structure when it processes a specially crafted file. Exploitation requires a user to open the file and runs code in the context of the affected application's current process.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
