Session hijacking via reflected systems-list parameters
Published May 26, 2025 · Updated May 27, 2025
Reflected XSS in SUSE Manager Server 5.0 and Server Module 4.3 allows remote authenticated users to run JavaScript in a victim's session. SystemsController places the q and qc query parameters from crafted systems-list URLs into the returned page without sufficient neutralization. Exploitation requires high-privileged access and a separate user to open a crafted link, enabling session hijacking or page-content manipulation.
