Memory disclosure and crash via unchecked UTF-8 reads

Heap-based buffer overflow in tbeu Matio 1.5.28 allows attackers to disclose adjacent memory or crash applications via a crafted MAT file. Mat_VarPrint in src/mat.c reads beyond heap allocations while printing UTF-8 character data because its condition does not verify the remaining buffer length. The file must be processed and printed by an application using the library; public evidence demonstrates invalid reads and segmentation faults, not code execution.
