Local code execution via undisclosed script injection
Published Nov 11, 2025 · Updated Nov 11, 2025
Code injection in NVIDIA Megatron-LM before 0.14.0 allows local users to execute code by supplying malicious data to a script. NVIDIA identifies the locus only as a script and has not disclosed which script or how it treats attacker-created data as executable code. Exploitation requires low-privileged local access and no user interaction, and successful execution can expose or alter data and elevate privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
