CVE-2025-23355

Local code execution via ngfx DLL hijacking

Published Oct 1, 2025 · Updated Feb 26, 2026

DLL hijacking in NVIDIA Nsight Graphics before 2025.3 allows local users to execute code through the Windows ngfx component. The component resolves a DLL through an uncontrolled search-path element, but NVIDIA has not published the DLL name or search location. Reaching the flaw requires local access and user interaction; successful exploitation enables privilege escalation, data tampering, or service interruption.
