Out-of-bounds writes in NVIDIA ConnectX and BlueField firmware allow local users with VF access to execute arbitrary code on the device. The command interface writes crafted input beyond its intended buffer, corrupting adjacent device memory; NVIDIA has not disclosed the affected command or handler. VF access on a local host is required; without VF use or untrusted tenants, only privileged administrators or the hypervisor can reach the flaw.
