CVE-2025-23318Known exploitationNetwork attack vector

Remote code execution via IPC Push buffer overwrite

Published Aug 6, 2025 · Updated Aug 6, 2025

Out-of-bounds write in the Python backend in NVIDIA Triton Inference Server before 25.07 allows remote attackers to execute code. The IPC message handler processes a crafted Push request with an incorrect length and writes past the end of its allocated buffer. No authentication or user interaction is required, but exploitation has high complexity and code execution requires chaining with another flaw; memory corruption can also crash the service, alter data, or disclose information.
