CVE-2025-23309

Elevated code execution via uncontrolled DLL loading

Published Oct 10, 2025 · Updated Feb 26, 2026

Uncontrolled DLL loading in NVIDIA Display Driver for GeForce and Tesla on Windows allows local users to execute code with elevated privileges. NVIDIA identifies an uncontrolled DLL loading path but has not disclosed the responsible executable, DLL name, or writable search location. Exploitation requires local low-privileged access and user interaction, and successful abuse can also tamper with data or interrupt the system.
