CVE-2025-23296

Local code execution via missing service authentication

Published Aug 13, 2025 · Updated Aug 13, 2025

Code injection in NVIDIA Isaac-GR00T N1 allows local users to execute code through an unauthenticated Python inference service. BaseInferenceServer binds a ZeroMQ request socket and, before commit 9ca97e1, accepts endpoint requests without validating an API token. Low-privileged access is required under NVIDIA's assessment; successful exploitation exposes service-process data and permits code execution and data tampering.
