CVE-2025-23290

Cross-VM activity disclosure via global GPU metrics

Published Aug 2, 2025 · Updated Aug 4, 2025

Information disclosure in NVIDIA vGPU Software 18.3 and earlier allows guest OS users to infer cross-VM activity from global GPU metrics. The Virtual GPU Manager exposes global measurements to a guest without isolating values influenced by workloads in other virtual machines. Exploitation requires low-privileged guest access and high-complexity observation, and the reported consequence is indirect workload disclosure only.
