CVE-2025-23285

Guest-triggered denial of service via global resource access

Published Aug 2, 2025 · Updated Aug 4, 2025

Denial of service in NVIDIA vGPU Software 18.3 and earlier allows guest OS users to interrupt host GPU service through global resource access. The Virtual GPU Manager exposes global resources to a guest instead of restricting them to that guest’s assigned scope. Exploitation requires low-privileged code in a guest VM and can interrupt host GPU availability without disclosing or modifying data.
