CVE-2025-23284

Guest-triggered code execution via stack buffer overflow

Published Aug 2, 2025 · Updated Feb 26, 2026

Stack-based buffer overflow in NVIDIA GPU Display Driver R570 allows guest OS users to execute code through the Virtual GPU Manager. NVIDIA has not disclosed the input path, affected routine, or operation that writes beyond the stack buffer. Guest OS users need only low privileges, and exploitation can also corrupt or disclose data or interrupt the host without user interaction.
