Stack buffer overflow in NVIDIA vGPU Software 18.3 and earlier allows guest OS users to execute code through the Virtual GPU Manager. The manager overruns a stack buffer while handling malicious guest input; NVIDIA has not disclosed the responsible interface or operation. A low-privileged malicious guest can target a Linux-style hypervisor host, resulting in host code execution, privilege escalation, disclosure, tampering, or a crash.
