Incorrect authorization in NVIDIA ConnectX firmware allows local users to alter protected management-interface configuration. The management interface authorizes a high-privileged local actor to modify protected settings, but NVIDIA has not disclosed the failed check or operation. High privileges and local access are required; successful modification can expose or tamper with data, escalate privileges, or interrupt service.
