CVE-2025-23260Network attack vector

Cluster information disclosure via impersonable ServiceAccount

Published Jun 24, 2025 · Updated May 26, 2026

Incorrect privilege assignment in NVIDIA AIS K8s Operator before 2.3.0 allows remote authenticated users to disclose cluster data. The operator creates a namespaced ServiceAccount bound to a cluster-wide ClusterRole, allowing that account to be impersonated for elevated access. Exploitation requires existing Kubernetes privileges sufficient to create an AIS custom resource and use the attached ServiceAccount; the reported consequence is information disclosure.
