CVE-2025-23254

Local code execution via unauthenticated pickle IPC

Published May 1, 2025 · Updated May 1, 2025

Deserialization of untrusted data in NVIDIA TensorRT-LLM before 0.18.2 allows local users to execute code through Python executor IPC. The executor's ZeroMqQueue deserializes Python pickle messages received over socket-based IPC without authenticating them, so crafted serialized objects can invoke attacker-controlled behavior. The path requires local low-privileged access to the TRTLLM server and can also disclose or alter data.
