Database compromise via concatenated especie parameter
Published Jan 20, 2025 · Updated Feb 18, 2025
SQL injection in WeGIA before 3.2.10 allows remote attackers to read or alter database records through a crafted especie value. adicionar_especie.php reads the especie POST field and concatenates it into an INSERT passed to PDO::query instead of binding it as data. The endpoint requires no prior privileges or user interaction, and exploitation can dump the complete application database.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
