CVE-2025-23191Network attack vector

Metadata link redirection via Host header cache poisoning

Published Feb 11, 2025 · Updated Feb 11, 2025

Cache poisoning in SAP Fiori for SAP ERP allows remote authenticated users to redirect OData metadata links to attacker-controlled hosts. The OData endpoint incorporates an HTTP GET request's untrusted Host header into cached atom:link values instead of fixing or validating the origin. Low-privileged network access is required, and successful poisoning changes generated links without disclosing data or interrupting service.
