Restricted data disclosure via unchecked remote function
Published Feb 11, 2025 · Updated Feb 11, 2025
Missing authorization in SAP NetWeaver and ABAP Platform ST-PI releases allows remote authenticated users to read restricted data. A remote-enabled function module in ST-PI 2008_1_700, 2008_1_710, and 740 omits an authorization check before returning data, but SAP has not disclosed the module or checked permission. Valid SAP credentials and network reachability to the function are required; exploitation exposes otherwise inaccessible data without modification or service interruption.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
