CVE-2025-23186Network attack vector

Remote-service credential exposure via crafted RFC destination

Published Apr 8, 2025 · Updated Feb 26, 2026

Code injection in SAP NetWeaver Application Server ABAP allows remote authenticated users to expose remote-service credentials through RFC calls. The RFC destination handler accepts a crafted mixed dynamic destination and routes the call to a restricted destination while forwarding credentials. A valid account and certain destination conditions are required; the disclosed credentials grant access that can fully compromise the remote service.
