Authenticated command execution via unrestricted UCPE image upload
Published Jun 18, 2025 · Updated Jun 23, 2025
Dangerous file upload in Versa Director 21.2.2, 21.2.3, and 22.1.1 through 22.1.4 allows remote authenticated users to deploy a webshell. The UCPE image upload path accepts files despite the interface appearing to prohibit them and discloses each temporary file's UUID-prefixed full name. A high-privilege authenticated user on an Internet-exposed Director can use the disclosed path to place executable server-side content and run commands.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
