CVE-2025-23108Network attack vector

Address-bar spoofing via long-pressed JavaScript links

Published Jan 11, 2025 · Updated May 20, 2026

Address bar spoofing in Mozilla Firefox for iOS before 134 allows remote attackers to falsify a new tab's displayed URL. Mozilla identifies the long-press Open in New Tab path and JavaScript URI, but does not disclose the erroneous URL-assignment or validation operation. A user must long-press an attacker-supplied JavaScript link and open it in a new tab; the demonstrated consequence is origin deception, not code execution or data access.
