Broken access control in HPE Aruba ClearPass Policy Manager 6.11.0 through 6.12.3 allows remote authenticated users to gain administrator privileges. The web management interface permits read-only accounts to access data and invoke functions reserved for read/write administrators; HPE has not disclosed the affected endpoints or authorization check. A valid read-only account and network access to the management interface are required, and successful exploitation grants administrative capabilities.
