CVE-2025-23046Network attack vector

Account takeover via OAuthIMAP authentication bypass

Published Feb 25, 2025 · Updated Feb 25, 2025

Authentication bypass in GLPI 9.5.0 through 10.0.17 allows remote attackers to access accounts through an OAuthIMAP-backed mail provider. The upstream advisory identifies no affected function or explanation of how GLPI incorrectly binds an OAuth authorization to a submitted user name. Exploitation requires that provider configuration and a user name with an existing OAuth authorization, and grants the information access held by that account.
