Stored browser script execution via unsanitized schedule type
Published Jan 13, 2025 · Updated Jan 14, 2025
Stored XSS in WeGIA before 3.2.6 allows remote attackers to execute scripts in users' browsers through a crafted schedule type. The adicionarTipo method stored the unfiltered tipo POST value, and cadastro_funcionario.php rendered its database description into an option without HTML escaping. The payload executes when a user loads the employee-registration page, exposing that browser session and actions performed with its privileges.
