Stored script execution via unsanitized situation records
Published Jan 13, 2025 · Updated Jan 14, 2025
Stored XSS in WeGIA before 3.2.6 allows remote attackers to run scripts in a user's browser through a crafted situacao value. The adicionar_situacao.php endpoint stores the unfiltered POST value, while affected display paths emit the database value without HTML encoding. No prior privileges are required, but a user must access content containing the stored situation; execution can expose browser or session data and perform actions in that user's context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
