Reflected XSS via unencoded cpf parameter
Published Jan 13, 2025 · Updated Jan 14, 2025
Reflected XSS in WeGIA before 3.2.6 allows remote attackers to execute script in a victim's browser through a crafted cpf value. The cadastro_funcionario.php endpoint writes cpf into an HTML input value without output encoding, so markup can close the attribute and enter the page. Exploitation requires a victim to open the crafted request; the script runs in that user's WeGIA origin and can read or modify browser-accessible session data.
