Cross-site scripting via unescaped template literals

Cross-site scripting in casid jte before 3.1.16 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript through a crafted template value. The Escape.java javaScriptBlock and javaScriptAttribute methods pass backticks and dollar signs without JavaScript-context escaping, permitting a value to terminate or interpolate within a template literal. Exploitation requires an application to render attacker-controlled data inside a script block or script attribute containing a template literal and a user to view the resulting page.
