Authentication bypass in WorkOS Hosted AuthKit before 2025-01-07 allows remote authenticated users to bypass MFA during sign-in. The Hosted AuthKit MFA enrollment flow accepts a password-authenticated session and permits registration of a new factor without the existing factor. The flaw requires password authentication and MFA to be enabled; a stolen password then grants access protected by the original factor.
