CVE-2025-23007

Restricted file disclosure via privileged log export

Published Jan 30, 2025 · Updated Apr 17, 2025

Improper privilege management in SonicWall NetExtender 10.3.0 and earlier allows local users to read restricted Windows system files. The log exporter reads attacker-selected non-log paths with SYSTEM access; SonicWall has not published the exact validation failure. Local low-privileged access is required, no separate user interaction is needed, and the direct impact is read-only disclosure.
