Information disclosure via unsanitized spreadsheet formulas
Published Feb 3, 2025 · Updated Mar 17, 2026
CSV injection in eladmin 2.7 and earlier allows remote attackers to embed spreadsheet formulas in downloaded exception logs. FileUtil.downloadExcel writes string values from exception-log records into XLSX cells without neutralizing leading =, +, -, or @ formula characters. Exploitation requires a user to download the log and click the injected formula, which can disclose data to an attacker-controlled URL.
