Session hijacking via unauthenticated debug-log access
Published Feb 13, 2025 · Updated Mar 17, 2025
Information disclosure in GatesAir Maxiva UAXT and VAXT transmitter web interfaces allows remote attackers to obtain active session IDs. The /logs/debug/xteLog* endpoints return log contents without authentication, and those logs record sess_id values and successful password-check tokens. The management interface must be network-reachable and a valid session must exist; replaying a disclosed ID grants the victim session's permissions.
