Privilege escalation via cross-client property-state disclosure
Published Sep 8, 2025 · Updated Sep 9, 2025
Information disclosure in OPSI before 4.3 allows remote attackers to retrieve ProductPropertyState data belonging to other clients. The productPropertyState_getObjects API fails to limit returned objects to the requesting client's identity, exposing client-specific property values. A reachable OPSI service is sufficient; disclosed states can contain scoped secrets such as windomain join credentials, enabling privilege escalation.
