Internal network access via unchecked metadata URLs
Published Feb 27, 2025 · Updated Mar 3, 2025
SSRF in Memos 0.23.0 allows remote attackers to make the server request internal resources through the GetLinkMetadata API. GetHTMLMeta passes an attacker-supplied link to an HTTP client without rejecting private, loopback, or link-local destinations, and redirects bypassed the initial validation. No authentication or user interaction is required; successful requests expose internal web content and probe local services.
