CVE-2025-22941Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated root command execution via ping parameter

Published Mar 31, 2025 · Updated Aug 18, 2025

Command injection in the Adtran 411 ONT L80.00.0011.M2 web interface allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary commands as root. The /ping.txt endpoint treats the command parameter as an operating-system command and runs it with root privileges, then returns its output through a refresh request. A user-level web session and two HTTP requests are sufficient, granting control of the appliance and access to data available to its root account.
