CVE-2025-2292Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated file disclosure via unchecked backup path

Published Mar 31, 2025 · Updated Dec 27, 2025

Path traversal in Xorcom CompletePBX 5.2.35 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read arbitrary server files. The core module's download method Base64-decodes the backup parameter and uses the resulting path without restricting it to backup files. A valid sid session cookie is required, and a crafted request can retrieve sensitive Linux files, including password hashes.
