Stack-based buffer overflow in Edimax RE11S firmware 1.11 allows remote attackers to corrupt memory via a crafted rootAPmac value. The formiNICbasicREP handler passes the unbounded rootAPmac field to sprintf, writing beyond its 0x380-byte stack space. The unauthenticated HTTP POST must reach the /goform/formiNICbasicREP management endpoint; public evidence demonstrates stack overwrite but not code execution or a device crash.
