Unauthenticated service interruption via resource exhaustion
Published May 13, 2025 · Updated May 14, 2025
Uncontrolled resource consumption in Intel OpenVINO Model Server before 2024.4 allows remote attackers to interrupt service via adjacent access. Intel has not published the affected component, the input that consumes resources without a bound, or whether interruption manifests as a hang or crash. Exploitation requires no authentication but does require adjacent network reachability, and the documented impact is limited to service availability.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
