Stored XSS in MT Block Editor in affected Movable Type editions allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts in logged-in browsers. Affected releases include Movable Type and Advanced 8.4.1 and earlier or 8.0.5 and earlier, plus Premium variants 2.06 and earlier. Six Apart has not disclosed which custom-block field lacks output neutralization or the exact rendering operation; exploitation requires a low-privileged account and a logged-in user to open the custom-block edit page.
